Chief Fire and Rescue Advisor for England, is responsible for the advising the government on all matters concerning the Fire and Rescue Service. The CFRA also handles the auditing of all Local Authority Fire Services to ensure they meet strict performance criteria and targets laid out by the English Governments . The Chief Fire and Rescue Advisor reports to the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). [1]
